Malta F.A. Trophy
On September 13, Għajnsielem F.C. beat M.F.A. 3rd Division side Xgħajra Tornadoes
1-0 in the
1st Round of the Malta F.A. Trophy, at the Sirens
Stadium. This marked the first time ever that the Blacks
have won a match in this competition and advanced to the
next round. It was also the first time that the Blacks
had beaten Maltese opposition in a competitive match and
the first ever win on Maltese soil.
